Homestay Family
We are a Christian Korean couple with a 6-year-old. I'm a school teacher, and my husband is an IT consultant. On weekdays, my son and I leave home at 7:30 am, come home around 5:30 pm and go to bed between 6:30 and 7:30 pm so he won't be too bothersome to live with. :-)
House
a big house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The Homestay family lives upstairs, and we have a separate downstairs area with its own bathroom and a living room for the homestays.
Food
The host parents serve dinner, and breakfast is self-served. We use high-quality ingredients, including a lot of organic food. There is always plenty of food in the house, such as Korean noodles and fruits. We pride ourselves on the delicious and healthy meals we provide.
Safety
Smoke alarms, HRV ventilation system, a central heat pump and a dehumidifier. Surveillance cameras in/around the property. Our property is all fenced up with a gate and an electric keypad.
Travel to Auckland City Central
We are located in one of Auckland’s most desirable neighborhoods, only four kilometres from the city centre. Bus stops, supermarkets, restaurants, and shops are 5 -10 mins from home, and the train station is 20 minutes from home.
English Language Learning
I am a teacher at a public school and would be happy to help you with your English. I can provide tutoring. I am happy to offer 5-10 minutes over dinner time to help you with your schoolwork.

Homestay fee includes
The use of electricity, heater, water, laundry, unlimited and fast internet, a queen-sized bed, wardrobe, drawers, quality towels, curtains, desk, quality study lamp, quality bedding, breakfast and dinner. Each room has a few pillows (memory foam, duck feather, and others) so you can choose the best one that suits you. Each room is equipped with a heater. A central heat pump (air conditioner) and HRV ventilation keeps the house drier and people healthier.
