Hello everyone ,

My name is Yvonne, I have been an international student myself in NZ. Having studied in NZ before returning to Hong Kong. I returned to NZ after meeting my local Chinese Husband several years ago. I am a full time stay home mum of four children. Two boys aged 11 and 8 and two girls. We have a 5 bedroom home and 3 bathrooms. And currently, have two spare rooms. We are considering renting the rooms in future to homestay students. Hosting a short-term home international student would be a very good experience. We would also like to introduce our kids to other cultures.

My husband is a Chartered Accountant/Finance Manager and I am a registered social worker and have several years experience but currently taking a career break to raise my 3 kids. I have an interest in early childhood education. We would describe ourselves as an easy going Christian family. To keep our kids busy we take them out regularly on weekends all around Auckland, to parks, gardens, museums, farms.

3-5 minute walk to bus stop, bus route to Auckland city and new lynn

25mins bus trip to town, AUT, ACG

15 minutes walk to supermarket

$240 per week (upstairs)
