We’re a professional mum and 5yr old son duo! We are both well travelled and enjoy experiencing many different cultures, customs, food and ways of living. We prefer the quiet life at our home and our home is calm, peaceful and nourishing. We have so many diverse interests including, sports, music, food, festivals, outdoor and nature activities, art and crafts, walks and so much more.

Our home is a newly built modern and luxurious home, double glazed, warm, 5 bedroom home spread across 3 levels. There are two rooms and a bathroom which is fully separated from the family bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring privacy and space, ideal for quiet study. We are 15-20mins away from the city, making it central to everything including universities, and major city attractions, and about 9-10 mins away from picturesque beaches.

Shops and bus stops are 1-2mins walk from home, with lovely cafes, takeaway food shops, gym, yoga studio and plenty of great walks, with a stunning view of the local mountain.

If you’re looking for safe, warm, modern living that is spacious, quiet, and be central to everything, then our home could be your perfect home away from home.

I have trained in performing arts, English language and communication training, so excellent for people who are also looking to improve their English speaking skills and be immersed in a Kiwi way of life in a friendly and safe space.

Note: If you need food at home, we can discuss and agree which meals and how much you can contribute.

We value our privacy and safety so the only two strict policies we have is that there shouldn't be anyone else in your room while you stay with us, which is a standard clause in any homestay agreement in New Zealand. There are plenty of great cafes, about 30 seconds away if you are meeting any friends! The other part is that, floor 3 where my son and I live are off limits at all times, but you have access to all areas on Level 1 (where you will be with your own room and dedicated shower and bathroom) and Level 2 (spacious kitchen, entertainment and living area with balconies on both sides of the house) on our beautiful multi level home, making it a spacious and homely experience for you.
