Hi, my name is Lena Röhlings, 21 years old, from Berlin, Germany and I am a professional athlete (canoe sprint). Last year I became world champion in the double mixed boat and this year I competed at my first Olympic Games in Paris. There I managed to finish sixth in the double boat in a very competitive event and as the youngest boat in the field.
I am a very open minded, uncomplicated person and I can integrate very well. Besides sport I study Psychology.
After that 2024 sports season I would like to see something different and broaden my horizon. I always have dreamed about visiting New Zealand and this year it’s going to happen. From November to January I will join the New Zealand Women Canoe Squad, one of the best teams in the world (they finished first in all olympic canoe women disciplines) and train on Lake Pupuke in Auckland (North Shore Canoe Club). I am still looking for an accommodation. Best regards, Lena
